School Updates

FORT MYERS HIGH SCHOOL will be giving back to the worst hit areas from Hurricane Irma: Lehigh, Bonita, Buckingham, and Alva.

Our community is in need. Families are not able to access resources due to flooding, lack of transportation nor have the financial means to take care of the basic necessities, let’s join together and make a difference.

Anyone, from any school or area…students and staff, come donate time or supplies on Wednesday, 9/20 @9am, in the FMHS cafeteria. We’re packing bags with water, a sandwich, chips, a note of support and delivering to the community.

Bins are located outside, in front of the school, to start gathering supplies:

  • WATER any size, gallon, bottles, 5 gallon…we’re not picky
  • Gallon and sandwich size ziplock bags
  • Bread
  • Jelly
  • Peanut Butter
  • Chips/granola bars/protein bars
  • Hygiene items: Shampoo/cond., soap, tampons, deodorant
  • Baby items: Formula, diapers, wipes

Email Ms. Kirschner for specific questions or to sponsor a family who has lost a home.
