Our New Student Orientation will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd, at 6:30 p.m. Many of the clubs and athletic teams will display their activities and inform you about upcoming practices and events.
Course scheduling sessions for all incoming 9th grade students will be held April 28th and 29th. This registration session is a necessary step to ensure that your child is enrolled in the appropriate classes to satisfy graduation requirements and experience a relevant and rigorous academic program.
During the scheduling session, a school counselor will cover graduation requirements, major tracks of study, and courses available at our school. You and your child will complete the course selection form while here with us, but you may preview it by clicking here. Please bring a copy of your child’s most recent report card to the scheduling session.
Plan to report to Fort Myers High School any time between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on the day that corresponds with your child’s last name. Please park in the lot on the east side of the school, near the hospital. Enter the building through the nearest door and proceed to the front lobby for check-in. Signs will be posted, directing you to the check-in station.
Should you not be able to attend the scheduling session, please print and complete the appropriate 9th grade course selection form and fax 334-3095 or mail it to the school.
Our counselors look forward to leading you and your child through this exciting and important process. We are pleased you are joining us at Fort Myers High School – where excellence is a tradition.
