Zonta Scholarship

The Zonta Club of Bonita Springs – Estero is an organization of business and professional women dedicated to improving the circumstances of women at all stages of life, locally and globally. Zonta International seeks to improve the legal, political, economic, educational, health and professional status of women through service and advocacy.

 

The purpose of this scholarship is to support a graduating, female, high school senior with her first year of tuition as she transitions from high school to a local college, university, vocational, or online school.

AWARD Up to $500

Scholarship Criteria:

- Female

- Minimum high school GPA of 3.5 or higher and graduating from high school in 2020 or 2021.

- Have the intention of enrolling in a minimum of 9 credit hours at a local college, university, vocational, or online school in SWFL in the first year of college.

- Must volunteer at one of our service projects and attend a membership social.

- Be present to accept the scholarship award and share your community involvement essay at one of the Zonta general meetings.

Cape Royal Community Foundation Scholarship

The Cape Royal Community Foundation will be awarding four $5,000 scholarships to two senior female golfers and two senior male golfers who meet the eligibility requirements listed in the application packet. These students must be members of the high school golf teams, have a good academic record and be involved in other school and community activities.  These students must continue their post-secondary education in an institution of higher education to include technical schools starting in the summer or fall of 2021.

  • be a resident of Lee County
  • be a member of a Lee County High School’s golf team
  • be a graduating senior accepted at, and planning to attend, an accredited college, university, or vocational tech school during the summer or fall of 2021

We have attached the application packet that can be given to the students. We are asking for your assistance by letting your students know about this opportunity. The application is also on our website www.crcf.info . The application must be received by April 17, 2021.
