Friday, August 25, 2023 was a celebration of many years in the making. Thanks to the NFL, Miami Dolphins, John & Liz Kagan, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank, and a host of Greenie supporters for the new turf on Sam Sirianni Field at Edison Stadium. Also, thank you to Sanibel Captiva Community Bank for donating the beautiful mural representing the Green Wave and Fort Myers. This field and the new track that will be completed in December will provide a safe playing surface for school and community athletes for years to come.
