Computer Science A


AP Computer Science A introduces students to computer science through programming. Fundamental topics in this course include the design of solutions to problems, the use of data structures to organize large sets of data, the development and implementation of algorithms to process data and discover new information, the analysis of potential solutions, and the ethical and social implications of computing systems. The course emphasizes object-oriented programming and design using the Java programming language.

Computer Science Principles (AP)


AP Computer Science Principles is an introductory college-level computing course that introduces students to the breadth of the field of computer science. Students learn to design and evaluate solutions and to apply computer science to solve problems through the development of algorithms and programs.

Digital Design


This course is designed to develop basic entry-level skills required for careers in the digital publishing industry. The content includes; process, planning, designing, conceptualizing, editing, critiquing and presenting of real-world projects created using traditional & digital media. Students will be using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to enhance their design skills. Levels II,III & IV will build on the foundations of design covered in Level I to create more professional work to produce student design portfolios. Students will also have the opportunity to get industry certification in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.

Early Childhood Education


This course allows students to discover the exciting and always-in-demand career opportunities in working with children. Level I students take a year-long course covering curriculum from the Florida Department of Children and Families that includes the topics: Child Abuse and Neglect; Health, Safety, and Nutrition; Child Growth and Development; Child Care Facility Rules and Regulations; and lesson planning and classroom applications. Level II-IV students who become state certified will operate the on-campus preschool called “Little Wave.”

IT Career Program

(Techno Wave)


Learn the practical skills and technical knowledge necessary to succeed in today's digital age. Training future Cybersecurity Specialists, IT Support Professionals, and Network Technicians with a solid foundation to pursue their careers.

Marketing Essentials


Entrepreneurship introduces students to the risks and rewards of business ownership and a foundation in economic concepts. Students are guided through the elements and creation of a business plan, using a step-by-step narrative for selecting an idea for a business, social and ethical responsibilities, start-up options for the new business, operating the business, and expanding and exiting the business. In addition the text also reflects current business concepts such as trade agreements and trade barriers, the promotional mix, and insurance practices.

Course prepares students for the ESBv2 Certification, a course and district expectation.

Outboard Marine 1


Students will learn entry-level skills for the outboard marine service industry. Hands-on training combined with laboratory and classroom experiences gives the student a full understanding of workplace safety and organization, trailer service, various boat materials, 2-stroke cycle outboard engines, and fuel systems on boats.
