National Career and Technical Honor Society

National Technical Honor Society

Have you taken any of these classes for at least 3 years in a row: Teaching Academy classes, Engineering and Drafting, Digital Design, TV Production, or Academy of Finance?  The Fort Myers High School chapter of National Career and Technical Honor Society strives to bring well deserved recognition, scholarship opportunities, and volunteer and career opportunities to students who take and excel in one of the career and technical educational fields. A honor cord is given out at graduation if students meet all requirements.

To be considered for membership, you will need to have been enrolled in the same Career and Technical Education course at FMHS for at least 3 years, hold a 3.0 GPA or higher at graduation (verified by transcript), No OSS or ISS during membership, attend meetings (only 1 absence allowed), and pay one-time dues of $30 which includes a certificate, pin, honor cord, scholarship entry, and recommendation letter. Your coursework, grades, and attendance will be verified. Please obtain an unofficial transcript showing your enrollment in at least 3 years of the same CTE course and have it for our first meeting.

Please join our google classroom with code mbla4x and see your CTE teacher for more details.

Stay tuned for meeting dates.
